ONION BURGER

INGREDIENTS
- 1 big onion
Marinade (optional):
- 2 tbsp tamari/soy sauce
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp paprika powder
- 1 tsp garlic powder
Batter:
- 1 cup chickpea flour
- 1/3 cup starch
- 3/4 cup soy milk or water
- pinch of salt
EAT WITH
- bread roll
- lettuce
- vegan mayo
- tomato etc.
METHOD
1. Cut the onion in big slices
2. Prepare the marinade and marinate onion chunks for at least 20 min (optional)
3. Prepare the batter in a bowl
4. Dip the onion into the flour, then into the batter and finally into the bread crumbs
5. Bake for 30 minutes at 200°C or until golden brown
6. Build your fav burger!
