TAHINI TOFU

INGREDIENTS

- 400 g tofu

- 2 tbsp starch

- 2 tbsp soy sauce

- 1 tbsp olive oil

SAUCE

- 2 tbsp runny tahini

- 3 tbsp water

- 2 tbsp soy sauce

- 1 tbsp sweetener

- 1/2 tsp starch

- 1/2 lime, juiced

- 2 garlic cloves, minced

- 1 tbsp olive oil

METHOD

1. Dry the tofu well and cut in big chunks

2. In a bowl cover tofu with the starch and soy sauce

3. Fry tofu in olive oil until golden and crispy

4. Set tofu aside and prepare sauce

5. Mix all ingredients of the sauce besides garlic and oil

6. Fry garlic in olive oil until fragrant

7. Pour sauce into pan with garlic and cook until it thickens

8. Add tofu, mix all together and fry for another minute

9. Serve with rice and top up with sesame seeds, spring onion and lime juice
