ZA'ATAR FLAT BREAD

INGREDIENTS

- 220 g white strong flour

- 100 g lukewarm water

- 2 tbsp olive oil

- 1 tsp salt

- 1 tsp baking powder

FILLING

- olive oil

- za'atar mix

METHOD

1. Mix all ingredients of the dough, and knead for 5 minutes until nice and soft

2. Cover and let it rest for 10-20 minutes

3. Cut in 4 pieces and form balls

4. Stretch out the dough very thin, paint it with olive oil, add some herbs and roll it into a sausage along the long side

5. Make a round shape and stretch it again until round

6. With a bit of oil fry the bread both sides until it turns golden brown and black spots appear

7. Enjoy it as a snack or with a nice curry
